Went Karting twice. It’s fun. Might join the club.

Car broke, car towed, car go again. RAC am good.

Changed jobs, sorta. I left ISS. Why? Cause I wasn’t proud of what we were doing and I felt I was getting screwed. I was copping flack from both sides for no good reason, and none of my concerns raised months before were addressed. I gave plenty of time for them to be addressed, but nothing came to pass, so I started looking for work. The funny part is the job I landed was pretty much what I was doing to start with, just fewer hours a week and heaps more cash for doing it. Plus now I get training and other perks which I didn’t get before. And I was sure there was some government training requirement for full time employees, but never received any while with ISS.

I’m going offshore next week so I won’t be around until after 28 June. I have a shiney new passport for it too.

Shrek 2 is good.

I had to fall to lose it all, but in the end it doesn’t even matter. (Linkin Park – In the end)

Film: Good Boy!

Once I saw the trailer for Good Boy! I thought, theres a title that could be worth seeing, if and only if it was done right. Sadly it wasn’t quite done right, but was still entertaining enough to watch after a few pints. Granted the source I saw it on wasn’t the best, but it still looked very nice on my new set. So even when I’m watching something that’s not too great, it still looks great.

The user comment on imdb It’s My Dog Skip meets E.T. was pretty much right. Though I thought this was better than My Dog Skip though it was far more superficial and the story was a bit weak.

The skill of the dog trainers which is evident in this film sort of redeems it from the waste heap. The director clearly had plenty of patience when filming this one, and the animation which makes the dogs mouths move (unless the dog’s were that well trained) was done very well with no visible seams. I have some respect for this film, but as it’s a kids movie which isn’t worth watching more than once, I won’t be laying down cash for this one.
