Short post:

• Librettos Hard disk controller died. So I can’t sell it without feeling dodgy.
• Dell Inspiron 4150 isn’t available in australia with SXGA+ screen anymore so I can’t get it now. And the 8500 has so many negative comments on CNET that I’d rather not risk it.
• Watched Lord_Mortis at walan doing trance mixes and some other guy doing it too. Looked really cool.
• Pissed off
• Reinstalled Windows, I went with how not to die
• Further playing with Billion 741GE modem/router has revealed it isn’t so bad when you turn off all the features. (Stupid limits everywhere in it’s config, 10 ports forwarded, 30 firewall ports etc). Further games with the box has now renamed it to shitbox here after. The shitbox is for sale, as new, no it is new, all the boxes books plastic bags cable ties, it doesn’t come in a shrink wrap box normally so you wouldn’t know the difference. Plus it runs the latest firmware ! Newer firmware due out on the 10th of May, still waiting for it…
• Watched Punch Drunk Love and X 2
• Russ has the new name n00b following his antics with a new CPU.
• Site was down for a bit, but seems to be back now, no idea what happened.
• Got a USB2/Firewire case for the libretto’s 20gig drive. But drive doesn’t work in that. Now I think both the hard drive and the controller died, though the drive works on a desktop box, but that makes the brand spanking new firewire case look faulty. FARK. Now all I need to do is figure a way out of this without spending cash.
• So much for posting more frequently, I’m trying.
