Intrevenous caffeine

Another month has passed again, my bad. Here’s whats been going down in my hood brotherz.

Firstly I got pissed off (long story), and in my caffeinated rage I ended up modding eMulePlus to do what I wanted. As funny as it sounds, it’s true and I’m nearly pleased now. A bit more work and it will be complete.

Following a work barbeque we (some work mates who work for the same company as me, but not in the same building) migrated down to a pub in Nedlands (KKs bar), on the proviso it would be good. It turned out to be Karaoke night too ! (W00t) and the one guy really gets into his karaoke. Oh to be so carefree especially when not drunk. I didn’t sing, but next time I might ! Speaking of drunken behaviour boo boo (aka stevie boo boo) and I stumbled out of the pub at around midnight with the intention of walking to the train station. Since we (well I) wasn’t totally sure of the train timetable I decided to head towards the subiaco station (hint, not the closest one) from where I live 10 minutes further away. This turned out to be a good move, since by the time I got home I was capable of passing as a not so drunken phool which I wasn’t capable of when the walk began 45 minutes or so earlier.

The following weekend another work do started at the Queens, then to Martinos then back to the Queens and then onto the Lux club in Highgate. Fortunately through my good luck the night didn’t cost me too much, either that or when drunk I become a very skillful pick pocket, which I doubt. This was the day of the huge rainfall in Perth.

Got a new phone and a new number. If you haven’t been given the new number either I forgot or frankly I didn’t want you to have it (or you didn’t read the SMS). Phone is a Sony Ericsson T68i, with infra red, bluetooth etc. Free GRPS wap for the first month too. Had a bit of a play with that, but using it when it’s not free would be far too expensive, unless you are in a real bind and medically need to check slashdot. And by expensive I mean $10 per meg.

We had a reload, it went well, my spongebob shaped server lapped up lots of the offerings. WAlan was last weekend, it was good. Easter just passed for another year, as did Anzac day so we had 2 long weekends in a row.

Elisha might be buying my libretto so a new lappy might not be far off. Well it might still, the one I was eyeing off for some time now has become end of line and limited stock remains (now just today the option of SXGA+ screen was removed, fark). Also it’s lack of firewire and usb2 may prompt me to get a different one, but I don’t want to compromise too much because I’ll be laying down many subway lunch worths to get it (we equate everything to subway lunches as it makes dealing with the reality of how much money buys what a bit easier).

My parents leave for their round Australia trip on Wednesday.

It’s funny that this is all I can write about for a whole month of stuff happening. My life must be this sad. I didn’t even have any witty or interesting links to show off, well I could link to www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com but it’s not that good. I’m thinking about a post early post offten philosophy, but this could mean the quality of my posts could drop dramatically. This post is post number 150!
