DVD purchase; Now I have my own copy of The Best Bits of the Late Show an excellent title for those who saw the original show and understand low level humour. Also Forrest Gump and Virtuosity are now in my collection. The region 4 Harry Potter is a pan and scan dodgness so I took it back.

I have an access point now. Uber. Flashed it to the latest firmware and all is juicy goodness.

I’ve been coding for Game Boy Advance for a little while now and having recently solved some showstopper bugs I’m feeling a lot better about my decision to use C++ rather than just C. The hardware is yet to arrive as it has been delayed by the source in Hong Kong.

The resident hypocrite seems to think he does need a net connection after all. This being strikingly different to statements of the previous week ranging from; If it wasn’t for all of you guys, I’d leave my computer at work and the earlier comment If it wasn’t for other people living here I wouldn’t need a phone which was closely followed by said person getting a mobile phone. What started all this ? It could be related to some comments by said person and being followed up by the all-nighter-building-a-dial-up-machine-making-as-much-noise-as-possible routine. Exibit B

I’d also like to place my opinion on his rant regarding our (privatteers and myself) opinion regarding the free net connection. Well I also have an iiNet account which is available for use, and considering we were all in agreement regarding getting Westnet ADSL a few weeks back and he has the setup money it’s all sort of moot. The ball is in his court yet he is the one complaining. What’s next ? If I didn’t have a car, I wouldn’t need a driveway. Perhaps I should get doc Roommates politics 101, a bloody good read I hear.

Dungeon Siege is good. Get it. It’s got all the great things about Diablo in it, and all the crap things from Diablo taken out and a whole lot of really good stuff put in. Oh and it looks sexy too.
