Whoops

Nearly a month has passed without a single update. Also on one person voted in the current (or previous) poll, perhaps this is a sign. Perhaps I should change the poll again. I’d really like to say keep visiting because some big changes are just around the corner but that would be lieing, the really big changes are so far off now they are looking more and more unlikely. I need to find some eternal happiness somewhere, perhaps where the fountain of youth is located, right next to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Rain please rain. hmmm

So much has happened over the last month. On the computer front, my Libretto now has 20 gig of disk space and a new battery (the old one happend to decide to end its life shortly after the new hard drive was paid for, but before it was fitted, go figure). The dual Celeron (Cartman, the dual Celeron 300a @ 450) has been upgraded by the replacement dual Celeron (Tweek and Token both Celeron 1200s, both housed in Lian Li PC30s, both uber).

I had Jury duty this week. What a day, at least they pay you for your time. I can say though I came out of it with a slight sign of respect for our legal system, but the wigs will always be funny in my opinion.

My so called pay rise turned out to be less uber than I had originally thought. I guess I suck at math as much as Cartman.

Not so much lanning has been taking place, though I can distinctly remember 2 lans this past 4 weeks, so I guess thats not too bad. Planning for Reload 2 is under way (the forums are fineally up too), and WAlan is 2 weeks out.

I haven’t downloaded too much lately, all 5 cd’s of FreeBSD 4.5 doesn’t really count.

Opera on linux is great.

I’m still reading Harry Potter and the goblet of fire, I was reading 2 chapters a night, but that sorta slowed down. I might sit down and finish it this weekend so I can give the book back to Memnoch.
