So, because of this, I’m outta here in about an hour.

My javascript assignment isn’t finished yet, bugger. I’m not too far off being done, but it still needs a lot of work in linking everything together. It will get done later I guess, I still need to do the flash intro bit.

VMware won today’s odd pic.

Bad boy pipe at 1400meg

I escaped from worsley earlier than expected this morning. I spent the rest of the day downloading this and that. I downloaded the whole IE5.01 sp2 just for the hell of it so to speak (slashdot mentioned security flaw in ie501sp1 yadda yadda), I desperately need to get back into the bad boy pipe… I’m on 993meg right now, (quota of 750meg) but Garbs said to get in he had to get up to 1400meg. It’s only 400meg =) But in 4 days I’ll lose 150 of my 993 meg so I had better get to it.

Vmware is running again on my box. More 98lite tinkering. I had a bad thought of putting NT4 on my laptop (along with linux), but haven’t looked into it. NT4 is so much nicer than 98lite in general, but it doesn’t support PCMCIA hot swap, but that’s not really an issue, as I have 2 PC card devices, and one is in all the time, and the other is just about never used. I wonder if NT 4 supports PS/2 and Serial mice at the same time, I haven’t been able to get 98 to do this, XFree86 does this really easily too (easier than USB mice in X). Windows 2000 is nicer, but much slower on this machine too (yes I have run windows 2000 on a 32Mb toshiba libretto, lets just say after a clean reboot, the task manager showed 42meg allocated).

NT fun here. Lan party tomorrow, I had better put that ram into mr celery here (tap tap tap) tomorrow morning. I’m listening to 70’s and 80’s music right now, be afraid, be very afraid !

You know it’s going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

After an entertaining lecture last night on LAN’s I think we need to vent our new found knowledge in a good game of Quake 3… Thanks goes out to Doccy and Spidgy who are hosting this weekends event.

Worsley this morning, and tomorrow morning, it’s not humane I swear, morning that is.

I got my javascript assignment to work flawlessly in Netscape 4.7 after much debugging and checking browser versions for alternative code. My extreme dm tracter does prove that some people out there use it, though Garb’s tracker would show more truthful readings of the internet population than mine.

My new SDRAM card arrived today, a 256MB one =) finally the dual celeron will get what it deserves, more than 64meg of that gooey golden stuff. Now all it needs is a functional burner, oh well, I’ll have to rob another bank, that is before they close on me. I finished DivXing my Evangelion DVDs, and the result is quite good I must say, just in time for the weekend’s event.

Bluemidgit has been up for over half a year. Bluemidgit runs linux. Konqueror runs on linux. Konqueror isn’t perfect.

If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?
